Responsible for the operation of Tribal Programs in accordance with the goals and objectives set forth by the Grand Portage Tribal Council and any other job related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Must have ability to handle multiple priorities, supervisory experience, organization skills, and communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to work with diverse groups of people from a variety of backgrounds, ability to work on a team and independently under strict timelines. Proficiency in the use of computers is an asset. Must clear background investigation for minimum standards of Character & Suitability for employment under the Indian Child Protection & Family Violence Prevention Act of 1990, Pub 101-630.
