Human Resources Administrator/Health Services Director
The maintenance/housekeeper is responsible for cleaning the clinic and the RTC tribal offices, performing housekeeping and custodial duties as required at the Grand Portage Health Clinic and the RTC. This position will split their time between Grand Portage Health Services and the Tribal Offices. Responsible for maintain sterile, clean environment of Clinic facilities, light grounds maintenance including flower garden and snow shoveling, clean and coordinate maintenance of Clinic vehicles, ordering and inventory of cleaning supplies, update MSDS for janitorial supplies and any other job related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).
Related experience or training. Must have ability to work independently or with others when needed.
Must be detail oriented and have excellent people skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all Federal, State, and Tribal laws and policies relating to confidentiality, data privacy and information sharing. Must be ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable with Grand Portage Reservation auto insurance.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
