Description:
Responsible for operation, staffing and training relating to the Blackjack Department. Establish and administer procedures for the proper coordination of all operating activities relation to the Blackjack Department with special emphasis on security and surveillance
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
Directly supervises Shift Supervisors, Pit Bosses, Trainer, and Dealers for the Blackjack Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
