Trading Post Manager

Supervises and coordinates activities of Trading Post personnel, on an assigned shift. Promoting high quality customer service; assesses the needs of customers and staff to ensure personnel service is consistent with customer needs. The Trading Post Shift Supervisor will either work in the absence of or in coordination with the Trading Post Manager to resolve problems and emergencies as they pertain to personnel performance, employee scheduling, customer service, supervision, training and discipline and any other job related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).

High school diploma or general education degree; or two to three year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Customer service skills, ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays are a must. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Ability to handle multiple priorities is desired. Must have Supervisory experience or skills, organization skills, and communicate effectively orally and in writing. Prior retail experience desired. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, is an asset.
