Adjacent to the Lodge & Casino, the Marina was established
by the Grand Portage Development Corporation to provide services
for fishing and boating. Open May through October, the Marina
affords an excellent safe harbor roughly midway between Thunder
Bay and Grand Marais. It offers Michigan Fishing Licenses (required
if fishing out of Isle Royale), slip rentals, ramp launching and
landing facilities, as well as gas and tackle sales.
Located at the Marina and situated on beautiful Lake Superior,
Grand Portage Campground features 10 sites for either RVs or tents
with full hook-ups, and a comfort station with restrooms and showers.
Guests are entitled to use the Lodge's Indoor Pool and Sauna.
And, near the campground, you'll find a general store open year-round
for your convenience.
