Description:
Trains to become the Government Grant Controller and assists the Controller with assuring that accurate and timely reporting on finances of all grants and contracts is completed.
Education:
Four-year College Degree in Accounting, preferable and a minimum of 5 years or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
The candidate must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. It is essential for the individual to be able to deal with government agencies, and other employees of the organization in an effective manner. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to organize and effectively process and maintain records. Knowledge, experience and proficiency with Microsoft software, specifically Excel spreadsheets.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
