Description:
Responsible for general cleaning of monument restrooms, buildings, grounds and minor maintenance duties. Janitorial duties include washing windows, walls and fixtures, sweeping and oiling floors, dusting and waxing historic furnishings, cleaning, sanitizing and deodorizing restrooms, replacing light bulbs and consumable supplies.
Education:
High school diploma or GED, or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Qualifications:
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable through Grand Portage auto insurance.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
