Description:
Responsible for the development and management of the Grand Portage Reservation information technology services. This includes but is not limited to strategic planning and policy development, management of technology support and human resource development.
Education:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three to five years' experience in managing or supervisory position in Information Technology field. One year training or current participation of certification in Information Technology field.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of windows security, Microsoft experience with operating systems, telecommunication, is an asset. Strengths in management, organization and communication. It is essential to have the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and to represent complex ideas in straightforward and simple terms. Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
