Lodge Manager

Responsible for arranging details for group meetings, banquets and special events.  Confers with customer and hotel departments to plan function details such as space requirements, publicity, time schedule, food service and decorations.  Must be flexible, willing to work nights, weekends and overtime, as needed. 

Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent; or one to two years related experience in the sales and marketing field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Must have working knowledge of Excel and Word. Prior hotel or catering experience helpful.


Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
