Description:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the maintenance division. Supervise and train maintenance workers in various phases associated with the construction, repair, maintenance, preservation, and renovation of park buildings and related structures, grounds, fixtures and utilities. Knowledge of carpentry, masonry, plumbing, cement work, painting, welding, roofing and wastewater systems, vehicle as well as large and small equipment maintenance and related trades.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of electrical systems, carpentry, construction, plumbing, maintain water and sewer lines, equipment maintenance, trails maintenance to maintain cultural landscapes. Written communication and computer skills required. Ability to maintain records and produce monthly production/staff reports. Must have and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and be insurable through RTC auto insurance.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
