Human Resources Administrator

Provides receptionist/secretary support services to the Tribal Council and Administrative Offices. Operates a multi-line telephone system answering incoming calls, directs callers to appropriate personnel, and other general clerical work and any other job related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality, organizational skills and customer service skills. Knowledge of office practices and procedures and the ability to use all office equipment. Must have proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point. Strong oral and written communication skills are an asset.


Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
