Description:
Responsible for coordinating and participating in all components of youth activities. Will work with community volunteers and youths in relevant activities to deliver quality recreational and educational services for the youth of Grand Portage. Work shifts will consist mostly of evenings and weekends as well as specific seasonal activities.
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
Must be a good role model to the youth of Grand Portage. Must have graduated from high school or have a general education degree. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable with Grand Portage auto insurance. The ability to relate well to children and education in working with children and adolescents in sports activities is highly desirable.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
