Description:
The Agriculture Development Coordinator is a SHIP/SNAP-ED grant funded 32 hour per week position that will oversee the development of crops and other items as part of building a sustainable community food system.

Education:
Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education experience. Prefer high school diploma or general education degree.

Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of agriculture and food system development. Valid Driver's license from state of residence and insurable through RTC vehicle insurance policy is required. Knowledge of American Indian health disparities, cultural patterns, attitudes, and practices is desired. Ability to present ideas accurately, effectively, and concisely, both orally and in writing required. Ability to teach, speak, demonstrate, and hold discussions effectively in front of and with various groups and individual is required

 

Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
