Description:
Provide administrative and budgetary support to the Facility Manager/AFA Program Administrator. Collects and inputs data into a variety of NPS maintenance systems, including the Facility Management Software System (FMSS), Project Management Information System (PMIS), Planning, Environment, and Public Comment (PEPC) and Cost Estimating Software System (CESS). Participate in formulation and execution of short- and long-term goals. Work with field staff on the entry of time and attendance. Schedule annual inspections related to facility systems and keeps accurate records of inspection for entry into Federal data systems when required/applicable.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; at least one-year related experience required. Must maintain/improve skill level through training opportunities related to the position.

The Annual Funding Agreement (AFA) is an agreement between the National Park Service (NPS) and the Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. The purpose of the AFA is to establish the terms and conditions under which the NPS will fund, and the Band will perform programs, services, functions, and activities, or portions thereof (Activities), at or for the Grand Portage National Monument (GRPO) and Isle Royale National Park (ISRO), park areas under the jurisdiction of the NPS within and near the exterior borders of the Grand Portage Reservation.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
