Description:
Repair and maintain in a safe working condition all heavy equipment, trucks and fleet motor vehicles. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instruction and engineering specifications; trouble shooting malfunctions.
Education:
Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
Must have knowledge of machinery and own tools. Must be able to cross US/Canadian Borders. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable with RTC auto insurance, CDL is an asset.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
