Description:
Use your accounting and Microsoft programs experience and learn about government grants. Duties include monthly, quarterly reporting, general ledger data entry and working with programs managers to maintain budgets. Will train on grants specific accounting.

Education:
Accounting Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; four-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Excel is beneficial.

Qualifications:
Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in the use of word processing, database and spreadsheet software applications.

 

Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
