Description:
Assist in installation, routine maintenance and repair of all equipment on the playing floor and associated with other operational functions relating to gaming. This includes but is not limited to slots, change machines, and other coin and bill handling equipment used in the cage and main bank and any other job related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).
Education:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior Slot Department experience is desired.
Qualifications:
Must be able to walk and stand for a full eight hour shift. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Must have customer service skills. Must pass a background investigation to obtain gaming license.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
