Responsible for accurate and timely production of financial reports for all Tribal Operations and Programs, and all Government Programs. Summarize and analyze financial data to provide management tools to managers. Coordinate the budget process. Coordinate bid processes for insurance and audit services. File quarterly/annual payroll, sales, and other taxes. Work with Administrator group on projects as assigned by Tribal Council. Monitor cash and investment accounts. Conducts Self-Monitoring duties for Indian Housing Authority. Main contract for annual and other audits. Develop policy and procedure as necessary, for Tribal Council approval. Supervises twelve staff members and any other job related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).

4-year Accounting Degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to handle multiple priorities. Proficiency in the use of computer an asset. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Must pass background investigation to obtain a gaming license.
